An initial briefing to be conducted (via conference call or in person) during which information about the company and its industry will be gathered. Additionally, the client's specific needs will be heard, objectives, key messages, format, and the textual content of the packaging will be defined, and any examples of competitors' packaging selected by the client will be reviewed to better understand their expectations and preferences.
Creation of a document outlining the essential points of the briefing: objectives, messages, formats, specific needs, etc.
Sending the briefing document to the client for approval.
Research and gathering of information related to the industry, as well as an exploration of specific graphic trends used in the field.
Analysis of competitors' commercial materials, identifying styles, characteristics, and trends.
Production of a report highlighting the graphic and communication strategies adopted by major competitors.
Creation of the morphological matrix that will help us examine in detail each element of the packaging, the client's needs, the material provided by them, any additional material that needs to be researched, down to the smallest detail, in order to have a complete picture to find the best graphic and structural solutions for packaging creation.
Creation of a mind map that, through a well-defined structure, will highlight all the fundamental elements for the development of the packaging.
Once the structure is defined, the study and selection of packaging type, fonts, and colors will begin, leading to the finalization of the graphic layout. This will be followed by the creation of proposals.
Presentation of the competitor analysis report and proposals (via conference call or in person). Estimated time: 3 weeks from the initial briefing.
Creation and presentation of any additional revisions. Expected delivery within 1 week after the revision request.
Sending images of the mockups for a more realistic visualization.
Final version definition and approval by the client.
Creation of the print-ready files based on the technical specifications required by the printer.
