Processing steps
The process will follow these steps:
Initial briefing to be conducted (via conference call or in person) where information regarding the company and industry sector will be gathered. Additionally, the specific needs of the client will be discussed and any e-commerce examples selected by the client will be reviewed to understand their expectations and preferences.
Creation of a document that outlines the key points of the briefing.
Sending of the briefing document and obtaining approval from the client.
Research and acquisition of information related to the sector and investigation of specific design trends used.
Delivery of the company’s graphic materials (logo and corporate identity), photographic images, and textual content to be used on the site.
Study of the site’s architecture and preparation of the sitemap. Estimated time of about one week after the client’s delivery of all graphic, photographic, and textual materials.
Presentation of the site’s architecture and sitemap: discussion and any modifications.
Client's signed approval of the e-commerce architecture and sitemap. Any modifications or updates to the e-commerce structure after approval will incur additional costs, ranging from 20%-50%, if the development phase has already begun.
Sending of a list of all missing photographic and textual materials needed to complete the graphic layout of the e-commerce site, which were not provided by the client.
Delivery of missing content (texts, photos, and videos) by the client.
The graphic design of the site will not begin until all necessary content has been fully delivered.
Design and creation of the graphic layout for all pages of the e-commerce site, including relevant photographic and textual content. Any modifications or updates to the layout upon client request.
Presentation of the e-commerce graphic proposal in all its parts (via conference call or in person). Estimated time: 2 weeks from the full delivery of all required textual and photographic content.
Client’s signed approval of the graphic layout for all pages. Any modifications or updates to the site’s structure after approval will incur additional costs, ranging from 20%-50%, once the interface development has already started.
Development of the e-commerce backend and interface, including activation of contact forms. Mobile version optimization.
Ensuring the e-commerce site complies with GDPR (privacy and cookies).
Sharing of the demo version of the e-commerce site for verification of all pages and site functions.
Client’s signed approval of the e-commerce demo version.
Activation of hosting service on a Windows Server (extra service not included in the e-commerce development cost).
Optional installation of the single-domain SSL certificate (extra service not included in the e-commerce development cost).
Going live with the e-commerce site. Once the site is live, any structural or content modifications will be quoted separately.
Once the e-commerce site is live, technical assistance will be provided for 6 months, which includes resolving any bugs or malfunctions reported by the client. Any updates or structural modifications to the e-commerce site are not covered under technical assistance and will be quoted separately.

Big-Base also allows you to classify products based on different criteria, such as families, categories, types, ranges, products, models, variants, etc., to organize the catalog in a functional and orderly manner.
The E-Box module of the Big-Box platform is a complete and customizable e-commerce solution that offers registered customers a private area where they can view their personal details, ongoing orders, confirmed and paid orders, and pay online through PayPal, a secure and reliable system that allows the use of a credit card without providing sensitive data to the Big-Box platform. The E-Box module is an IT solution that allows you to record, store, and analyze sales by individual product and time period. Additionally, the E-Box module offers the ability to communicate via email with customers in a personalized and timely manner, directly from the order placed within the platform. The E-Box module is also flexible and scalable, able to adapt to customer needs and support business growth over time.
Technical support includes assistance in resolving any problems or anomalies that occur during the first 6 months of e-commerce activity. Support is provided by a team of experts who respond promptly to customer requests. Technical support does not cover requests for changes to the design of the e-commerce site or alterations to its functionalities and updates. After the first 6 months, the customer can choose to activate an annual technical support contract or purchase an hour package to use freely for requesting support, updates, or site enhancements, which can also be used over multiple years.
Training to acquire all the necessary information to use the Big-Box platform, including Big-Box and E-Box, to become autonomous in managing the product catalog and e-commerce, will take place remotely by screen sharing and will be organized and held by one of our representatives before the e-commerce site goes live.
The entry of products into the e-commerce site requires a significant amount of time based on the number of items and their associated information. During the development of the e-commerce site, 5 items with their respective data and information will be entered. After receiving training on autonomous management of the e-commerce site, the customer can choose to handle the data entry of products themselves, purchase a data entry service from the available options, or request a customized one. Alternatively, it is always possible to purchase an assistance hour package for data entry or other tasks.
